Funding
CTSN sponsored funding opportunities
The Center for Translational Social Neuroscience (CTSN) offers up to four Pilot Project Grants.
The Pilot Project Grants ($25,000 max) support the general mission of the Conte Center (broadly defined) and will be funded with a start date of February 1, 2023. Relevant topics include studies relating oxytocin to social cognition and behavior in animals (NHP encouraged) or humans, or studies examining other neural mechanisms influencing social cognition and behavior. In addition, we are interested in proposals that develop tools that facilitate circuit level analysis of mechanisms governing social behavior, learning and memory or reward. The proposal DOES NOT need to be about oxytocin. Proposals are due December 31st, 2022 by 5PM. Any publications resulting from Pilot Project Grants should acknowledge support from NIH grant P50MH100023.
Eligibility
Faculty and postdoctoral fellows at Emory University or any Conte Center member are eligible to apply.
Instructions for Submission
The proposal should be no more than 2 pages long, including references. A separate budget page should be submitted. The PI and any Co-Inv should submit an NIH style Biosketch. The applications should be submitted to Larry Young at lyoun03@emory.edu. Pre-submission inquiries are welcomed.
