The CTSN coordinates a number of events, seminars, and opportunities. To enroll in our mailing list, please email Aurelie Menigoz at aurelie.menigoz@emory.edu.
Become an affiliate member
Emory and non-Emory faculty, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students whose research interests are not directly related to the biology of pro-social behavior or to clinical disorders in which disruption of social behavior is a core deficit, are eligible to apply for CTSN affiliate membership. CTSN affiliate members will be invited to participate in CTSN sponsored events including seminars, journal clubs, workshops, graduate level courses and special events. Affiliate members will be provided numerous opportunities for intellectual exchange and collaboration among a diverse community of researchers and clinicians. To apply, please send research descriptions and CV to Aurelie Menigoz at aurelie.menigoz@emory.edu.
Become a faculty member
At this time, only Emory faculty members are eligible to apply for CTSN faculty status. Research interests and funding should be directly related to the biology of pro-social behavior or to clinical disorders in which disruption of social behavior is a core deficit (e.g. Autism spectrum disorder and schizophrenia).
CTSN faculty members will be asked to be active participants in Center activities including CTSN-sponsored seminars and workshops, collaborating with others within the Center, participation in CTSN courses, and training CTSN-funded graduate students. CTSN faculty members are expected to include CTSN affiliation on CTSN-relevant manuscripts and presentations.
Benefits of CTSN faculty membership include:
- Access to training grant funds for graduate student or post-doc support.
- Access to pilot project grants.
- Administrative support for program project, equipment, and other major research grant submissions.
- Access to all Center shared resources and equipment, at subsidized rates.
- Numerous opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration for grant submissions and publications, and critical inter- and intra-programmatic activities.
To apply, please send research descriptions and CV to Jamie LaPrairie at jlaprai@emory.edu.
